The People Behind the Magic

These two moss coated legends (Eugene, aka Lusärdi and Ximon, aka SonicSmudge) made it their life's mission to bring the fully immersive experience of electronic dance culture to Unearthed Festival. Within the many facets of psychedelic frequencies channeled at Cosmic Cwtsh, a darker current pulses: rooted in gritty techno and dark progressive, with music selections designed not just to move our bodies, but to open portals through sound and to elevate beings to altered states, bringing us out of our heads into our hearts.

As co-founders and driving forces behind the Moss Collectiv, these two gentle souls work in the name of the creator as sonic alchemists, dissolving the boundaries between dancefloor and ceremony. Their gatherings are not events but experiences - unrepeatable moments of collective release, devotion, and communion. Backed by a hand-picked crew of creative crumpets, elves and magicians, they’ve nurtured Cosmic Cwtsh into a living gem of the festival - a caring community of lightminded and openhearted individuals pushing sound, space, and possibility beyond its edges. Expect a spellbinding environment where audio fuses with the visual to elevate you to the next level.

Guided by a meticulous eye for spatial, optical, and sonic delight, their passion is grounded in intention, presence, and within their hearts. Every element is placed with purpose, every frequency a prayer, transforming the solstice celebration into a cosmic rite.

Arwenvarda
"Music runs through my veins and harnesses my soul. What matters to me is that music comes from the heart and I share this energy with the crowd. When I play its about taking the journey together".

Arwen is a Welsh German DJ and Music Producer with roots stretching from 90s chillout sets to Glastonbury and Megadog. Expect a rich blend of electro techno with plenty of surprises. She’s buzzing to return to Cosmic Cwtsh and calls Unearthed “just the most magical festival”.

Algae Rhythm
Crafting deep, dark, rhythm-driven dubstep built to consume the dancefloor. Atmospheric, weighty and hypnotic. A sonic ecosystem where basslines crawl, echoes spiral and textures bloom.

Didge Beat George
All acoustic rave extravaganza with a didgeridoo, no loops, no FX... no nonsense!!! Just raving good time!!!

DJ Froo
Eclectic selections of tribal, afro beat and fun techno house designed purely to move bodies.

Tell Your Friends (TYF)
A Cardigan-based collective bringing bass-heavy dance music built for unity. Club nights, radio shows and a mission to connect people through sound.

SonicSmudge (Moss Collectiv)
SonicSmudge, aka Ximon, is one of the driving forces behind the Cosmic Cwtsh and the Moss Collectiv. With his heart fully committed to representing the many facets of electronic dance culture through these interwoven projects and there deep reaching undercurrents within the psychedelic music scene.

His sets unfold as immersive journeys through psytech, bush and darkprog — drawing listeners beyond hypnotic rhythms into a dense and tactile web of sound which flows past the physical bounds of the dancefloor into altered states of consciousness, sinking deep into the all-encompassing SonicSludge.
