The Freedom Stage is one of Unearthed's cosiest corners. A welcoming tent filled with sofas, cushions and curious souls, hosting a mixed programme of live music throughout the weekend, alongside theatre and comedy takeovers.
From stand-up comedy and political satire to puppetry, cabaret, gameshows and immersive theatre, expect laughter, absurdity, curious characters and plenty of the unexpected.
Whether you're catching a family show, settling in for some comedy, or stumbling across something delightfully strange, this is a space where imagination, mischief and entertainment take centre stage.

Freaky Deaky Theatre is a Pembrokeshire-born theatre company crafting immersive worlds of oddity, wonder and delight.
Blending cabaret, circus and theatrical mischief, their vintage-flavoured performances blur the line between spectacle and surreal experience. Expect curious characters, unexpected encounters and moments that are equal parts entertaining, bewildering and utterly hilarious.

Dame Zioness Flagshagger is on the campaign trail, seeking votes for the Conform Party. Expect absurdity, audience interaction and a humorous look at power, politics and the strange world we find ourselves living in.

Is it a day trip to the seaside, or a peculiar daydream?
Step onto the twisted pier promenade and discover hidden delights, curious characters and unexpected encounters in this underground cabaret spectacular. A colourful blend of theatre, circus, comedy and the wonderfully bizarre.

Award-winning Welsh comedian Phil Cooper brings a preview of his latest Edinburgh Fringe show to Unearthed. Warm, witty and packed with brilliant storytelling, this is a chance to catch new material before it heads north.
Phil Cooper brings a work in progress of this years Edinburgh show 'deckchair'. Comparing his great grandad's life to his own . One was a world war one veteran one is not . Can you tell which one ?

Come Down With Me

Part game show, part chaos, all entertainment.
Inspired by a certain beloved TV classic, contestants compete in a series of ridiculous challenges, questionable judging decisions and audience-fuelled fun. Expect laughs, surprises and absolutely no guarantees of fairness.
