Festival Director

Dan Messore

Dan Messore is a jazz guitarist, composer and co-founder of Unearthed Festival. Having spent years living between the UK and Costa Rica, Dan’s music is shaped by travel, surf culture and a deep connection to place. Alongside his wife and musical collaborator Jo Messore, and their three daughters, he has helped build Unearthed from the ground up. Dan curates the Main Stage line-up, books artists, and oversees infrastructure, staging, setup and pack-down, keeping the festival rooted, human and community-led.

Festival Director

Tim Rees

Tim has a lifetime interest in the expansion of consciousness, buddhism, and a Kerouac like appreciation for  joy and mirth. Through his own practices and exploration of medicine plants, philosophy and spirituality he aspires to bring the best bits to Unearthed Festival in the hope that through understanding ourselves, we understand each other, creating more understanding and ultimately, contentment, to our local and global communities.

Creative Operation Lead

Thea Noble

You’ll usually find Thea orchestrating the behind-the-scenes magic of Unearthed, whether she’s deep in logistics, coordinating crews, or broadcasting from her beloved radio. With over a decade of experience across hospitality, events and creative business, she brings a unique blend of professionalism, warmth and vision to the festival. As a former director of her own business and now a hospitality and events consultant, Thea works closely with founders Tim and Dan to bring Unearthed’s vision to life, creating soulful, family-friendly experiences that celebrate connection, sustainability and community. For Thea, Unearthed is a living, breathing space for joy, healing and shared growth.

Volunteer Manager

Luci Llewellyn-Jones

Luci fell into events back in the 90s, spending many amazing years travelling the world, bringing communities together, nurturing relationships.

In 2017 she moved home to Wales to reset, looking for a simpler, less complicated life. She lives in Pembrokeshire with Gareth and their dog Harri, growing vegetables, making cider. They run a small campsite built around community vibe, dark skies and firepit gatherings.

She’s stoked to join the Unearthed community, bringing her organization skills and can do attitude with her.

Kids Area

Victoria Ward

Vix is a mum of four teenagers and lives in North Devon. She has been the Kids & Youth Area Producer since 2018, when she was invited to join the Unearthed team. She has worked at a range of festivals including One World, Buddhafield and Glastonbury, and she and her team work hard to ensure there is an interesting range of activities for children and young people of all ages at Unearthed. She enjoys crafts and is looking forward to running kids’ workshops this year, alongside some of the usual amazing Unearthed workshop leaders.

Dub corner producer

Kenny Lewis

Kenny produces Dub Corner with a fantastic team and has been working with Unearthed Festival for around ten years. Dub Corner hopes to bring the grassroots spirit of dub, reggae, ska and the like into the experience, with suitable diversions into other genres. He sees the festival as an amazing collection of music, art, healing and joy, and especially values the variety of spaces and blend of influences. One of the things he loves most is that it is an inclusive family space, where great efforts are made to create a conscious, welcoming vibration and a strong sense of cultural coherence.

temple producer & CacaoAmor

Dia Davila Boschetti

Throughout the years, La Ecuatoriana Picante, Dia Dávila Boschetti, has been spicing things up at Unearthed. In 2014, while travelling in India, she sent a box of decorative wonders that added to the festival’s aesthetic, and she was the first to share Cacao, sparking a long-standing love affair across the community. In 2022, she co-created Temple of Amor, a space exploring consent, connection, pleasure and healing sensuality. This year she returns co-managing the Temple Tent, supporting facilitators and attendees, bringing cacao vibes, leading activations, and curating workshops filled with laughter, depth, and Ecuadorian magic.

head of hydration

Water. Our most precious resource! We can’t hold an event without it. I’m very much in the background at Unearthed, but that’s what I do, get water to where it’s needed & keep you hydrated!I’m known asRichardthe Hat orRichardthe Legs. Do say Hi as I’m striding about checking my systems!

Cosmic Cwtsh Producers

Eugene & Ximon

These two moss coated legends (Eugene, aka Lusärdi and Ximon, aka SonicSmudge) made it their life's mission to bring the fully immersive experience of electronic dance culture to Unearthed Festival. Within the many facets of psychedelic frequencies channeled at Cosmic Cwtsh, a darker current pulses: rooted in gritty techno and dark progressive, with music selections designed not just to move our bodies, but to open portals through sound and to elevate beings to altered states, bringing us out of our heads into our hearts.

As co-founders and driving forces behind the Moss Collectiv, these two gentle souls work in the name of the creator as sonic alchemists, dissolving the boundaries between dancefloor and ceremony. Their gatherings are not events but experiences — unrepeatable moments of collective release, devotion, and communion.

Cosmic Ctwsh Producers

Eugene & Ximon

(Continued...)
Backed by a hand-picked crew of creative crumpets, elves and magicians, they’ve nurtured Cosmic Cwtsh into a living gem of the festival — a caring community of lightminded and openhearted individuals pushing sound, space, and possibility beyond its edges. Expect a spellbinding environment where audio fuses with the visual to elevate you to the next level.

Guided by a meticulous eye for spatial, optical, and sonic delight, their passion is grounded in intention, presence, and within their hearts. Every element is placed with purpose, every frequency a prayer, transforming the solstice celebration into a cosmic rite.
